The Near East Music Society is committed to preserving and transmitting the rich legacy of Near Eastern musical forms, we encourage cross cultural collaborative efforts, and promote contemporary growth, by providing unique networking opportunities which allow musicians to meet and develop intellectual or performance relationships.  As a grass roots organization, we endeavor to provide resources for new and professionally oriented musicians, regardless of previous near eastern musical experience.   Our goal is to assist in developing competent foundations, and strong repertoires necessary to succeed as a Near Eastern Musical performer.
